I put a pinch of salt in my 2 quarts of milk after bringing it home from the grocery store. 1 quart isn't enough, and 2 quarts is just a bit too much for me per week. The salt keeps the milk tasting fresh for about a week AFTER the expiration date. I've not been able to taste the salt, either.Regards, Peg
