Witch hazel

Witch hazel is very inexpensive and one thing you should have around all the time. It can't be beat for skin irritations, insect bites, sore muscles and poison ivy. It will immediately take the pain out of a bee or hornet sting, and reduce the swelling. And as a bonus, it's a mild astringent so it's great for a quick face cleanser. It's also a very good aftershave, I'm told.

Yep, great stuff. And the active ingredient of Tucks pads (hope that's not too much information, lol).

Also good as a facial astringent/toner.

Embarassed to say but helpful for hemorrhoids at times. Keep in refrigerator to get very cold or even in the freezer to get icy. The ingredients in it.. will help reduce the blood flow and make Hemorrhoid small and relieve itchiness too.

I read about this online (but mine idea to put in refrigerator and freezer too).

Just like in a barber shop it reduces a cut.. tighten the capillaries.. same as with a hemorrhoid.. it reduces the blood flow and reduces the hemorrhoid. Not sure if I'm explaining it right.

But I'm all healed up and it helped.

Yes, to the hemorrhoid thing. And if you buy a brand that has added rosewater or aloe, it's especially soothing as a facial cleanser. I've even heard of people using it as a mild underarm deodorant, if you're not TOO stinky! I keep a bottle on my bathroom sink.
