Paper, paper everywhere

There's no way you could ever run out of paper for lists and notes if you just keep your eyes open - and I don't mean just junk mail. What about the backs of can labels, inside and outside used envelopes, backs of receipts, paper bags? If you look at paper as if it's paper instead of labels, receipts, old paperback blanks, you'll never run out.

I use scraps for everything and I still have too many. I could never use up all the scraps we produce throughout the week. All the rest gets recycled. I'm trying to sign up for paperless statements from all my accounts to avoid the extra paper usage!

You're right!! What I can't figure out is why people still buy those 3x5" notebooks--to take notes on. Yet they will toss out perfectly good scrap paper. Weird!! Regards, Peg

My mother was a depression era baby. She used to tell me stories of how they re-used items. Her sister would write a letter on the outside of a used envelope, then roll it inside out, address it, and mail it. That one story has stuck in my mind for over 30 years.

Yes... we can get by on a whole lot less than we think we can and that pertains to a lot of things besides paper! :)
