That is so true. I use them all the time for cleaning my windows and mirrors. The newsprint doesn't come off on the windows, but I wonder about it coming off on other surfaces?? Most likely not, so I'll give it a try.
I prefer using rags. I keep a big stack of rags around and use them instead. I still keep paper towels for the occational need, but we only use a couple rolls a year.
