I think the idea is that the oven may not operate at full power if the load was split between appliances, which is what a power strip does. I've never seen one like that, but there could be. In that case, the leaking electricity would be less than appliances plugged into it.Pathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11122457524036298067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7256376349508798027.post-30732508978210710992008-01-29T08:51:00.000-07:002008-01-29T08:51:00.000-07:00For Christmas, my daughter bought (the family) a c...For Christmas, my daughter bought (the family) a convection toaster oven. We do not have a microwave oven. We do not like the light/motor running all the time. We would like to use a power strip, but they advise against it. Alas, we must plug and unplug it.Gigihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16446421268922755314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7256376349508798027.post-80649618744327244872008-01-29T07:40:00.000-07:002008-01-29T07:40:00.000-07:00Does the power strip still use electricity when tu...Does the power strip still use electricity when turned off?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
